Novak Djokovic without dropping a set in the round of 16 of the French Open

Defending champion Novak Djokovic has reached the round of 16 of the French Open without losing a set.

The Serbian world number one defeated the Slovenian Aljaz Bedene in his third round match on Friday 6: 3, 6: 3, 6: 2 and thus presented.

The 13-time tournament winner Rafael Nadal and shooting star Carlos Alcaraz, who are among the closest circle of title contenders, are also challenged on Friday.

Djokovic is back in top form after his long break in spring in Paris.

In preparation, the 35-year-old had also registered his claims for the classic clay court in Paris with his triumph at the Masters in Rome, where he would catch up with Nadal if he was successful after Grand Slam titles.

Nadal has had 21 major wins since his coup at the Australian Open – one more than Djokovic and Roger Federer.
