The robot was designed in Roeselare and is the new showpiece of Sentury Security, a surveillance and security company from Bruges. “It is a kind of robot dog that can carry out surveillance rounds or inspections,” says Ricardo Coenen of Sentury Security. “It works completely autonomously so that you as a company can deploy your staff in other ways. So the robot dog is not a replacement but a supplement.”
The security dog of the future has all kinds of gadgets, such as sensors, cameras, thermal vision and regular fire detectors. The robot dog can also detect burglars and transmigrants with a thermal camera.
