Norway joins French nuclear umbrella: “Most serious security situation since World War II”

Norway is joining the French “nuclear umbrella,” French President Emmanuel Macron and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre announced at a joint press conference. Norway has long relied mainly on the United States for its protection, but is now working more with other European countries.
