Norway and Denmark are marching towards the EM semi-finals

The defending champions from Norway and the three-time Olympic champion Denmark are marching towards the semi-finals of the women’s handball championship.

Norway beat Sweden in Group I 27:25 (13:13) in Ljubljana on Saturday evening and is at the top of the table with an ideal haul of six points.

The Danes had previously easily won 26:17 (14:8) against Croatia in the same place and, as second in the table, also have six points. However, Denmark has played one more game than Norway and one defeat to their credit.

The two top teams will meet on the last day of the game (Wednesday). Norway can already book a semi-final ticket if they win against hosts Slovenia on Monday.
