Northern lights clearly visible above large parts of the Netherlands: “Nobody expected”

A special natural phenomenon could be seen above large parts of the Netherlands on Sunday evening: the northern lights. This can be photographed several times a year in the north of the country, but is not often visible to the naked eye. “And no one expected it to come this far south,” says weatherman Wouter van Bernebeek enthusiastically. The last time was in 2015.
