According to the Turkish Swimming Federation, Kuzey Tunçelli was the right to compete in the final by passing the qualifiers with the degree of 07:45.13.
Kuzey finished the final race with 7: 49.09 and 6th.
Ahmed Jaouadi of Tunisia won the gold medal, while Sven Schwarz Gümüş, one of the German athletes, received a bronze medal of Lukas Maertens.
