A Nordnet customer who contacted Iltalehti says he logged on the platform before the service break, but to his surprise he ended up in an unknown person’s account. He says he has seen another customer’s investments and could have been able to make transfers, purchases and sales.
Social media has also been reported about a problem that resulted in a user who logged in to the service ended up in another person’s account.
Nordnet Country Manager Suvi Tuppurainen confirms to Iltalehti that some customers were momentarily entered into the wrong accounts. The problem that struck Tuesday at noon concerned all Nordnet countries, in addition to Finland, Sweden, Norwegian and Denmark.
– Apparently, transactions, ie purchases and sales [väärällä tilillä]. I have realized that this has been done, but this has not yet been confirmed, says Tuppurainen.

Even if you could make purchases and sales from accounts, money transfers have not been possible, Tuppurainen explains.
