Nora Rinne returns to Secret Lives

Actress Nora Rinte has been in a hurry during her Hidden Lives break. Now, the Camilla character on the slope is making a comeback, even though he hasn’t actually been away.

– Wow, this has changed, says actress Nora Rinne as she steps on the stage at Moose Café.

Moose is a central venue for the twists and turns of the Secret Lives series. When the roof of the favorite café of the residents of Pihlajakatu collapsed last year, everything went snuff and more.

He has been away for a long time in such a familiar place, when the Salkkarit studio is on the slope. Now he’s back.

Camilla, played by the slope, fell into a coma as a result of a helicopter accident. The end of the season culminates when Camilla wakes up.

Slope started in the role of Camilla Mustavaara in 2001. The dramatic character immediately shuffled the pack and brought its intense tension to the patterns in the series.

A couple of years later, it was already a farewell place when Rinne began her master’s studies at the Theater Academy and left production in Secret Lives in 2003.

– The departure was also related to the Theater Academy. Konala’s studios and the Theater Academy have been fighting for my time, Rinne laughs.

Doctoral studies

During her last break in Secret Lives, Rinne has done an artistic dissertation on children and childhood. There was no emergency on the Slope to get out of Secret Living. On the contrary, he enjoyed himself. However, his passion for doctoral studies took the win when he got the place.

– I wonder how children and childhood could be presented and brought to the fore in contemporary performing arts. It is an intergenerational project that is being done together with children – not so that adults are just thinking about this, Rinne says of her dissertation.

The day before, Rinne has been filming with children aged 12-13 for the artistic part. Working with children makes sense for Slope.

On the slope there are twins of the same age, moving to middle school at home.

– The subject of children has swam into art with my own children, as I have observed the place of children in our society and how separate the areas of children are from those of adults. In theater, on the other hand, children often play a symbolic role, for example in symbolizing innocence or telling a truth that others do not see, Rinne argues.

During the Salkkarit break, Rinne has done a few role jobs and taught at the Theater Academy as a class teacher.

The dissertation will take another three and a half years. Once the initial attendance obligations had eased, it was an ideal time for Rinte to return to the Secret Lives – once again asked.

Facial Camilla features

Rinne says Camilla’s role has provided and challenged her a lot as an actress.

– Cam has a dynamic and active character, it’s nice to act, Rinne says.

Viewers’ thoughts about the Camilla character have, of course, also spread to Rint’s ears. Sometimes discussions take place face to face.

– Many times people have admitted that they have had prejudices against me as well. They’ve been thinking that yes I have to be a little awful when the character is like that. The first impression has already been obtained and it is important. On my face, however, I carry the features of Camilla, and nothing can be done about it, Rinne says.

The conversations about the slope have been fun. The actor himself has sometimes even been amused and horrified by the comments made by Camilla’s fans.

– Young people say they’re a fan of Camilla because she’s such a great character. However, I thought he was doing wrong. After all, his solution is a bit … calling a hitman and others. They are not worth grabbing, Rinne laughs.

In Secret Lives, Rinne has also been able to play a triple role. Slope played Camilla and her twin sister Satu. In addition, she played a short role as the mother of sisters, Tuula.

In the future, viewers will once again be excited about what Camilla and Aki (Sami Uotila) to the Union.

Standard response for fans

Launched in the Secret Lives series more than 20 years ago, Rinne has seen how fan encounters have slowly shifted from store checkouts and streets to social media.

As a user of social media, Rinne is, in his own words, late-night.

– I haven’t been anywhere – even on Facebook, as my peers usually are, Rinne says.

After a few years on the slopes, Rinne has found the good sides of the canals.

– It’s also an insanely nice way to have some connection with the fans of the series, Rinne says.

Rinne has received a lot of messages on social media regarding the relationship between Camilla and Aki.

– There have also been a lot of questions about “when will you come back?”. There’s a standard answer to that: an emoji who raises his shoulders and shows he doesn’t know, Rinne says.

Now the wait is over.
