Nolan Arenado will be leaving the St. Louis Cardinals this offseason. This was confirmed by Chaim Bloom, the Redbirds’ President of Baseball Operations.
“His time with the Cardinals was really good,” said Bloom in a media round: “But we agree with Nolan that it is time to find another solution. We will work on it together with him.”
The 34-year-old third baseman signed a nine-year, $275 million contract with the Colorado Rockies that has two years remaining.
Arenado began his MLB career with the Rockies in 2013, then moved to St. Louis in 2021.
