Despite the predicted growth in the number of passengers and amount of cargo, the noise impact of Brussels Airport will decrease in the coming years. By 2032, the number of potentially highly inconvenienced people would decrease by 12 percent. This is evident from the environmental impact report (MER) that accompanies the application for a new Brussels Airport environmental permit. The report was presented today.
