“It seems that a server in the traffic control systems is not functioning properly,” said a ProRail spokeswoman. “This also causes the signals to turn red for safety reasons, so that driving is not allowed.”
The disruption affects all trains to and from Rotterdam and Dordrecht, an NS spokesperson said. Also trains on the high-speed line between Amsterdam Central and Breda are not running. ProRail advises travelers to consult the travel planner.
