Due to a signal failure, no trains are running between Meppel and Zwolle. According to the NS, train traffic on the route will be at a standstill until at least 10.15 am.
Travelers can opt for express buses as a replacement transport. This resulted in long queues at the bus station in Meppel this morning. The extra travel time can amount to more than an hour.
