No resentment with Telstar trainer Prune in the run-up to the duel against De Graafschap

Mike Snoei did not succeed twice in the past to bring De Graafschap to the Eredivisie. Snoei is now Telstar’s trainer and tomorrow evening he will be face to face with his old team. Despite his resignation from the Super Farmers, he does not hold a grudge. “De Graafschap has too many nice people.”

Snoei thinks it is strange to play against his old team again, but is especially looking forward to a nice match. “I have enjoyed working at De Graafschap for two years and I look back on it well,” says Snoei. According to the Telstar trainer, it would be a fantastic scenario if his team manages to beat the title candidate in the first division.

“It wasn’t perfect yet, but we are working hard to improve”

Snoei hopes his team will keep up with last week’s good performance against Helmond Sport (2-1 win) can give a good follow-up. In all likelihood, Telstar will try that with the new Greek acquisition Christos Giousis. According to the coach, the Greek youth international is well placed in the group.

Fit selection

Telstar has an almost completely fit squad. Only right back Yaël Liesdek will have to miss the game against De Graafschap due to a shoulder injury. Without Liesdek, the White Lions kick off at 20.00 in their own stadium.

The duel between Telstar and De Graafschap can be followed live on Thursday evening via an extra broadcast of NH Sport on NH Radio.
