No punishment for mother whose dog bit baby to death at home | Domestic

LELYSTAD – A 34-year-old woman from Rotterdam whose dog bit her two-month-old son to death in August 2023 will not be punished. The court in Lelystad acquitted the woman of culpable homicide on Wednesday. However, she is guilty of a legally less serious offense. But the court found a punishment for this “not appropriate given all the circumstances.”
