On Friday, the subdistrict court in Maastricht found 41 activists guilty of the occupation of the Sterrebos near Born, but did not impose a penalty on them. At the beginning of this year, the occupiers tried unsuccessfully to prevent the felling of the forest for the expansion of the adjacent VDL Nedcar car factory.
