The Public Prosecution Service will not prosecute Zakaria Labyad for assaulting a contractor. Conversely, the contractor will not be prosecuted for threats and trespassing.

The Public Prosecution Service indicates that there is too little evidence in both cases, reports General Newspaper† In 2020, Labyad refused to pay 18,000 euros, because he felt that the contractor had not done the job on his house properly. After that, a conflict arose in front of the Ajax player’s house in Blaricum.

The contractor reported assault and death threats. He was allegedly threatened with a firearm. Labyad, in turn, filed a complaint against the contractor.

There are camera images showing that there is pushing and pulling between the contractor and a group of people, including Labyad. However, the Public Prosecution Service has indicated that the images are too unclear. That is why it was decided not to prosecute.
