The Flemish government decided in June 2021 to map all locations with an increased risk of PFAS pollution. As part of this, a specific soil investigation was carried out on the site of the fire station in Lo-Reninge.
The analysis of the soil and groundwater samples shows that no increased PFAS values were determined. As a result, additional remediation or additional soil investigations are not necessary.
