No Nipplegate, No Penis: Dr. Dre on ‘Super Bowl’ halftime show with Snoop Dogg and Eminem

At a press conference about the upcoming Super Bowl, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dogg were asked if there were any surprises in store for viewers. Dre then joked that he should have talked Eminem and Snoop out of taking their penises out during the show.
There will be some surprises, but of course he wouldn’t reveal them just yet, Dre said afterwards. Snoop Dogg added that there would be no outfit issues anyway. A reference to Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s appearance on the show in 2004.
In a previous interview, Snoop Dogg, who recently made headlines with his purchase of the Death Row Records label, said the Super Bowl halftime show was a dream come true for him. “We are all one. We are all united,” the rapper added of his cast mates. “We must come together instead of dividing or dividing.” How appropriate Dre’s joke about the other rappers’ privates was given the recent allegations against Snoop Dogg remains a question.
The NFL championship halftime show will be held on February 13 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
