No more petrol at the ‘cheapest’ gas station in Brabant

The petrol at the probably cheapest gas station in Brabant has run out. People who want to fill up their car relatively cheaply at the Makro in Best on Sunday evening will be disappointed. Euro 95 can no longer be refueled. When you present your pass, the option is crossed out unleaded. Only diesel or LPG can be refueled at the eight pumps.

So many people must have visited the gas station this weekend, which is often the cheapest in Brabant. Thanks to the tax reduction of 17 cents on fuel, the price for a liter of Euro 95 fell just below two euros on Friday. In the rest of our province, the price for a liter of petrol is between 2.02 and 2.26 euros.

A correspondent who is in Best on Sunday evening around eight, says that people regularly come to fill their tank. A motorist even came for the second time around that time today. On Sunday afternoon, however, he decided to turn around when he saw the line. And now he is deceived. Because filling up with petrol is no longer an option.

To another pump
Most motorists indicate that they drive to another pump. Some say to try again on Monday.

The Makro in Best is an unmanned petrol pump. It is not clear when the petrol will be replenished. No one at the Makro could be reached for comment on Sunday evening.
