Inter Scaldes in Kruiningen, as one of the two three-star restaurants in the Netherlands, managed to retain that status. Another Zeeland success is that restaurant Karel V in Goes has been included in the Michelin guide.
Zeeland has eight restaurants with one or more Michelin stars. Inter Scaldes in Kruiningen is at the absolute culinary top with three stars. Pure C in Cadzand-Bad and De Kromme Watergang in Slijkplaat have two. There are five Zeeland restaurants with one star. These are Air Republic in Cadzand, Spetters in Breskens, ‘t Vlasbloemeken in Koewacht, Meliefste in Wolfaarsdijk and restaurant Katseveer in Wilhelminadorp.
The presentation of the coveted gastronomic awards normally takes place in March, but this time it was postponed for two months due to the uncertainty surrounding corona.
