No longer on flip flops, but bang on brand new shoes during Cascaderun Hoogeveen

Participating in the Cascaderun is, according to Padding, a great way of integrating. Not only does the school find it important that the students participate in sports and thus participate in society. But they also get to know Hoogeveen better.

“The Cascaderun is really something Hoogeveen. One of the biggest sporting events here. When you start running in Hoogeveen, the first question you always get is: ‘are you also participating in the Cascaderun?’ So this is really integrating what they do.”

Not only are the students of the transition class at the start, a number of them also man a water station along the course. Today all students will receive the last instructions for next Sunday.

“I trained a lot. By running outside with my friends. And by playing games such as hide and seek, tag and football,” says student Najib. Whether eight kilometers is not a bit too spicy? No, most students answer resolutely. So there is no lack of motivation, just like good footwear.
