On Saturday evening a raging fire raged in sauna Javali on the Hectorlaan in Heerhugowaard. The fire brigade and police were quickly present with many units. The security region has announced that no injuries have been reported.
After the first report at 9:40 p.m., the fire was quickly scaled up and the fire brigade turned out with several vehicles. Emergency services evacuated the building as quickly as possible. According to witnesses, surrounding buildings were not in danger.
According to a spokesperson for the security region, fifteen visitors and two personnel were present when the fire broke out. The visitors were able to leave the building quickly, the staff stayed behind to extinguish the fire themselves. Only they were checked by paramedics, but in the end no one had to go to the hospital. The visitors went home fairly quickly, according to the spokesperson.
