The Champions League final is scheduled for May 28th. Venue determined so far: The Russian metropolis of St. Petersburg.
But nothing will come of it. According to BILD information, the premier class final in St. Petersburg will not take place.
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Uefa announced that the Executive Committee would hold an extraordinary meeting on Friday (10 a.m.). The situation is to be assessed there and a change of venue discussed.
The end for St. Petersburg, the hometown of Vladimir Putin (69), should already be a done deal.
