Wolfsburg (AP) – National player Lukas Nmecha felt that Max Kruse was wrong.
“I have to honestly say I was surprised. I followed the stories about Max Kruse and his postings on the internet and thought: Now chaos is breaking out for us,” the 23-year-old forward told “Sport Bild” about his teammate. Kruse switched from Union Berlin to VfL Wolfsburg during the winter break. But the 34-year-old is a “very quiet guy who doesn’t seem to be hectic at all. And he’s an asset in sport.”
Kruse has “certain moments in the game. He’s a great guy and does unusual things on the pitch that are good for all of us,” said Nmecha. “For me, it’s always been that I’ve learned from other players just by watching them. It’s the same with Max now,” he said. “From time to time he also tells me that it is easier for me if I do a different movement. Of course I listen to him carefully.”
