The German textile discounter NKD Group has a record year in 2024.

The company based in Bindlach generated sales of 850 million euros in the financial year, NKD announced on Thursday. This corresponds to growth of five percent compared to the previous year and made the company’s most successful year in 2024.

The reason for the increase in sales is the use of data science in all areas of the value chain-from planning to allocation of goods, pricing and optimal copies of the copies. “We are very happy to be able to record the most successful year of our company history-a clear sign for our sustainable growth course and confirmation that our business model is very well received,” said Alexander Schmökel, CEO of the NKD group.

In the margin for the result of interest, taxes, taxes and depreciation (EBITDA), NKD posted a “disproportionate increase in earnings” in the upper single -digit range, according to the notification. This goes hand in hand with a “positive annual surplus”.

The company wants to continue growing in existing markets through the use of AI technologies. The growth of the approximately 2,200 branches that operates NKD in Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Croatia and Poland is to be increased through optimized product development, precise quantity planning and targeted branch, and innovative, customer -oriented marketing measures.
