Niklas Anttila finished second in the Frisbee Golf US Open Championship. The Finn’s score of 32 under par was not enough to win.

On Saturday, Anttila was still involved in winning the US Open championship tournament. Before the last round, the Finn was 23 under par, but the American, only 17 years old, Gannon Buhr eventually came through and took the win.

Buhr gets $25,000 for his win, while 20-year-old Anttila gets $13,000 for his second place.

– This hurts, but I’ll be back, Anttila wrote on her Instagram account.

Anttila already made history earlier in the tournament, as he became the first European ever to hold the top spot in the tournament after any round.

Remember the Finns Joona Heinänen was the second best European in the race, as he was 19th with a score of 14 under par. Väinö Mäkelä was, on the other hand, 28th. His score was 10 under par.

The championship tournament was contested in the state of South Carolina, in the city of Rock Hill.
