Nike Appoints New Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer

The US sports goods company Nike has appointed James Loduca as its new Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer.

Loduca announced his new position on the LinkedIn industry network on Wednesday. He was still active on Twitter until the beginning of the year. He worked for the short message service in various positions for almost four years, most recently as Vice President, Inclusion Diversity, Equality and Accessibility.

“In an increasingly polarized time, sport is one of the few things that still brings us together,” said Loduca. “Nike believes that if you have a body you are an athlete – and I am excited to join the team and help create a level playing field where everyone can win.”
