With over 200 participants, exciting insights into the world of artificial intelligence, numerous inspiring projects and the opportunity to network, the event was a complete success.
Inspiring insights and exchange at eye level
After a charming welcome from KI KIRA, a language model provided by THL’s mylab team led by Nane Kratzke, companies, university members and AI experts presented their innovative and exciting AI projects. Between the sessions, there was a relaxed atmosphere with snacks and drinks to discuss, network and talk about the diverse possible uses of AI.
In addition to the pitches, interactive AI demonstrators offered guests exciting insights into the possible applications of modern technologies and the opportunity to experience the range and potential of AI in practice.
High alumni participation
We were particularly pleased to see numerous alumni again, such as Michael Lichtenhagen (Software Design Lead Engineer at Philips) and Felix Mertens (founder and managing director of NAECO Blue GmbH), who demonstrated the versatility and future viability of AI applications with their exciting contributions demonstrated impressively.
Shared visions for the future
Weather forecasts for the operation of wind power and solar systems, support for maintenance cases through chatbots, master data management with the help of decision trees and image processing in robotics. The pitches not only demonstrated the enormous range of AI uses, but also showed how closely science and business can work together to develop solutions for the challenges of our time
emphasized Prof. Dr. André Drews, initiator and moderator of the event.
The networking sessions between the program items offered a relaxed atmosphere for intensive discussions and new contacts. It’s not just the technology, but the people behind it that continue to inspire us. The networking sessions were a wonderful opportunity to learn from each other and develop ideas for the future together
emphasized Emre Erdogan from EDGE Digital and alumnus of the TH Lübeck.
Thanks to everyone involved
The Night of AI was an inspiring evening that was only possible through the close collaboration between science, business and partners such as the IHK zu Lübeck and KI.SH.
The event impressively demonstrated how valuable the exchange between science, business and society is in a field as dynamic and future-oriented as artificial intelligence.
We are already looking forward to the next Night of AI and to further researching and promoting the potential of AI together with our partners.
