Niels Wennermars wins famous British cheese rolling competition: ‘This is for the Netherlands!’

21-year-old Niels Wennermars crossed the finish line fastest at the annual cheese rolling championship in Gloucester, England. Niels managed to leave international opponents behind in the hunt for the rolling cheese. Niels Wennemars was ultimately the winner of the second men’s race in the Cooper’s Hill Cheese Rolling Competition 2026.
