The journalist Nicolás Winazki exposed the plot of crossed interests surrounding the privatization of Technopolis: a 54-hectare property in Villa Martelli with a covered stadium for 11,000 people, 30,000 square meters of pavilions and parking for more than 4,000 vehicles. The tender, launched in December 2025 by the State Asset Management Agency (AABE) —which depends on the Chief of Staff— offers a 25-year concession with a base monthly fee of just 611 million pesos, about 400,000 dollars that specialists describe as ridiculous compared to the potential of the business.
According to Wiñazki, behind the operation two worlds coexist that would have communicating ties. On the one hand, Foggia Groupthe producer of Mara Goriniright hand of Karina Milei in the General Secretariat of the Presidency and one of the actors with the most weight in the bid. On the other hand, the brothers Daniel and Esteban Nofalshareholders of Tournaments and Competitions and children of the founder of that company, Luis Nofalwho are brothers-in-law of Marcelo Grandio: the same businessman who paid for a private flight to Punta del Este for the current Chief of Staff and who produced events on Public TV. The knot that unites them is the potential consortium between DirecTV and Tournaments and Competitions —belonging to Werthein Group—, whose main executives joined Foggia’s board of directors months before the contest was launched.
The plot doesn’t end there. Foggia also appears as a client of +BEthe consulting firm Bettina AngelettiAdorni’s wife, currently investigated for alleged triangulation of public funds. And the AABE official who signed the call, Nicolas Pakgojzis a friend of Federico Taianoson of the prosecutor who hid evidence in the $LIBRA cryptocurrency case.
The concession was also questioned in Congress. The deputy Sabrina Selva He asked Adorni about Karina Milei’s connection with one of the bidding companies during last week’s management report. The response from the Chief of Staff was limited to confirming that the tender was in process, without denying any of the indicated links. The process is scheduled for adjudication in the coming weeks.
