Nico Paz continues to attract attention in Serie A. The 21-year-old Argentine from Como 1907 was once again the outstanding man on the field in the 2-0 win against Juventus Turin on Sunday and was directly involved in both goals with a goal and an assist for Marc Oliver Kempf. There was praise from coach Cesc Fàbregas after the final whistle.
“Nico Paz is a champion,” Fábregas said of his playmaker after the game. “I’m very confident about him and his future. He can achieve anything he wants if he continues with this humility and hunger. The talent and the physicality are there.”
The attacking midfielder has four goals and four assists after seven matchdays. In the last Series A update, its market value was increased from 35 million to 55 million euros. “He has everything a top star needs: physicality, technique, game intelligence and versatility. He is already far too good for Como, his future will soon lie with Real Madrid, which has a low buyback option – and it is difficult to imagine that the club will let him go after that,” explained market value admin Jatin Dietl during the update. The Royals could have brought Paz back last summer for around 9 million euros, but decided against it. 10 million euros will be due in summer 2026 and 11 million euros in 2027.
