Nick Schilder finds it difficult to break through worldwide because he has such an enormous shame about flying, but now he is happily going on a flying holiday to Tanzania and Zanzibar…
At the beginning of the month we hear Nick Schilder say that he finds an international breakthrough difficult because of all the flying that comes with it (‘I try to stay alert that I don’t get on the plane too much unnecessarily’) and now it turns out to be quite fun. that he has just returned from a flying holiday to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Huh?!
To Zanzibar
His wife Kirsten Schilder explains Instagram how wonderful that trip was. “A trip you will never forget… On holiday for the first time with my brother-in-law, sister-in-law and father-in-law! Tanzania and Zanzibar have stolen our hearts! 🐘🦁 From impressive safaris in the wild to spotting three of the Big 5, it was magical!”
She continues: “But what really made this trip special? Sharing these special memories with our family and part of our family.”
Time zone
Nick was in front of the camera of RTL Boulevard yesterday, because he is giving a concert in Rotterdam tonight. Voice-over Jeroen Kijk in de Vegte: “He has just returned from a wonderful holiday in Tanzania and Zanzibar, but to say that he is more relaxed for his big gigwell hey.”
Nick liked that flying holiday trickyhe says. “It was nice to be able to get away from it all with the family, but it’s always a bit of a hassle with flights and time differences… It can also have an effect on your resistance that you don’t want to have.”
Mind fuck
Flight shame, time zone stress: life isn’t easy for Nick either. “And now I’m standing in the cold and I think: I shouldn’t catch a cold. It’s one big mind fuck to do something like that,” he says about his concert.
Well, fortunately for Nick that his flying shame is holding back his international breakthrough…
