Niall Horan serves a twelve-course meal: the musician is back with his fourth studio album “Dinner Party”. Artwork and tracklist have already been revealed, the release is scheduled for June 5th.

Horan first began teasing the follow-up to his 2023 album “The Show” on Valentine’s Day. Guests at the Brooklyn restaurant Dinner Party found a bottle of wine at their tables – a gift from the singer, who left everyone a handwritten note: “Cheers to being done looking for someone.” The restaurant shared the kind gesture on Instagram and mentioned that Horan personally selected the wines from his own cellar. “Here’s a toast to keeping the romance rolling well into spring,” the caption read.

Just a few days later, Horan posted a series of photos and videos on X with the comment: “Album is DONE.” Fans don’t have to wait long anyway: the first single “Dinner Party” will be released on March 20th. In an interview with Capital Breakfast, Horan revealed that he wrote the song after meeting his long-term girlfriend for the first time at a mutual friend’s dinner party.

How it all began

“That was the song that made me think, ‘OK, this is where the album starts from’… Because my relationship started the night that this song is about,” he said. “And I realized that that dinner party became something much bigger than just a meal together with a little too much wine. It became the last six years of my life – and hopefully the rest of it. That then allowed me to write songs about all the moments of that relationship.”

Horan is also drawn to the stage again. Earlier this month, he announced joint headline shows with Thomas Rhett in Nashville and Hershey. He will also appear on BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in May. Fans in Europe can now register for pre-sales for his upcoming headlining tour – exact dates will be announced at a later date.
