NFL superstar Odell Beckham Jr. denies megalomania allegations

Odell Beckham Jr. is still looking for a new team. However, his high salary demands are said to prevent the numerous interested parties from committing to the NFL receiver. A rumor that the professional has now denied.

According to several reports, Beckham told those close to him that he would only sign with an NFL organization if they offered him a salary of $20 million a year.

Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio fueled the rumor when he explained last week that the player “still has that number in the back of his mind”.

The wide receiver reacted stunned to this insinuation on Friday afternoon on Twitter. “I’m just so confused as to where the quote is from me that says I want 20,” Beckham wrote in his post. “All I’m saying is that 4 is NOT enough.”

OBJ is arguably one of the top NFL pass receivers currently on the road without a contract. So it comes as a complete surprise that one prospect only offered $4 million in salary to secure the 30-year-old’s services.

NFL teams line up at Odell Beckham Jr.

Although Odell Beckham Jr. was unable to play a single game last season due to a cruciate ligament rupture, the hype surrounding him continues unabated. For example, the free agent hosted a public practice session earlier this month, which at least 11 teams attended, according to CBS Sports.

During the workout, Beckham showed he’s fully recovered from his injury with quick movements and powerful catches. NFL bosses have certainly taken note.

In addition to Beckham’s former employers, the New York Giants and the Los Angeles Rams, the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs are currently being traded as potential landing spots.
