A 25-year-old NFL player Jeff Gladney has died in a car accident in Dallas.
According to sources, the 26-year-old woman on board also died in the accident on Monday morning.
The player’s death was confirmed by his agent Brian Overstreet.
Gladney represented the Arizona Cardinals. He had been booked for the NFL in the first round of 2020.
The Minnesota Vikings, who booked Gladney, gave him entry passes before the start of last season after he was arrested for beating his girlfriend.
However, Gladney was acquitted of all charges in a trial in Texas, after which he signed a two-year contract with Arizona in March.
However, the corner defender did not have time to play any matches in the colors of the club. In Minnesota, Gladney played 15 matches in the 2020 season.
