Odell Beckham Jr. is returning to the New York Giants. The Big Apple franchise announced this big news on Monday.

“OBJ is back,” the Giants wrote on social media. The 33-year-old wide receiver began his career with the Giants in 2014 and spent his first five years in New York. The first three seasons in particular were characterized by success, with the veteran amassing over 1,300 yards each time.

Beckham sat out completely in 2025: After he was initially suspended for six games by the NFL, the receiver no longer found a suitable buyer. His last employer was the Miami Dolphins (2024).

The Giants have also signed another wide receiver, Braxton Berrios, to a one-year contract. That has ESPN-Insider Adam Schefter learned from Berrios’ advisors Robert Bailey and Drew Rosenhaus.

This is the Giants’ response to the personnel shortage at the wide receiver position. Malik Nabers (knee) and Darius Slayton (core muscles) are currently recovering from their injuries. The team also received the bad news last week that Gunner Olszewski had torn his Achilles tendon.

Beckham and Berrios were allowed to audition for the Giants’ workout on Monday. Anthony Miller and JuJu Smith-Schuster also got their chance.
