NFL hammer! Tom Brady appears to be retiring

Quarterback legend Tom Brady is about to retire after 22 years in the NFL. This is reported by several sources from the USA.

According to ESPN reporters Jeff Darlington and Adam Schefter, Tom Brady will retire from football. An official confirmation is still pending.

The 44-year-old was eliminated from the NFL playoffs last weekend with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Los Angeles Rams. “I haven’t thought about it much yet. We look from day to day and see where we stand,” the number 12 said after the game, leaving his retirement open.

In recent years there has been speculation about Brady’s career end, now the “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time, editor’s note) really seems to be leaving the limelight.

Brady was drafted 199th overall by the New England Patriots in the 2000 NFL draft. The native Californian then went on to make a career for the history books. With seven Super Bowl titles, Brady is by far the most successful quarterback of all time.

Brady holds countless NFL records

In addition, the US sports legend was voted into the Pro Bowl a total of 15 times and holds countless NFL records such as the most passing yards (84,520).

After 20 years with the New England Patriots, Brady made a fresh start in 2020 and joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his first season with the Florida team, the veteran won the Super Bowl.

In the past regular season, Brady was convincing again and, with a record of 13 wins and four losses, led the Bucs confidently into the playoffs, where it was over in the second round against the Los Angeles Rams. The narrow 27:30 defeat was apparently the last game in Brady’s memorable career.
