FC Schalke 04 will have to do without left-back Thomas Ouwejan in the next Bundesliga games.
According to the club, the Dutchman suffered an inner ligament injury on his left knee in the game against SC Freiburg (0-2) and will not be able to play in the remaining three Bundesliga games this year.
Ouwejan is the next defender with whom the Revierclub cannot plan for the time being. The central defenders Leo Greiml (meniscus operation), Marcin Kaminski (cut on the calf), Ibrahima Cissé (muscle injury) and Sepp van den Berg (ligament injury) will no longer be available until the end of the year.
