FC Schalke 04 recorded a departure in Germany after a transfer. Martin Wasinski is awarded RFC Liège in the second Belgian league for one season. The change window is open there until Monday. Liège secured a purchase option for the defender.
“After the season preparation and the first games, it was clear to Martin and us as a club that he should get his missions at another club. In Liège we will keep his development in mind. We wish Martin all the best there for the time,” Schalke director Youri Mulder is quoted in a club message.
Wasinski had switched from R Charleroi SC to the royal blue last summer, for which he played three games. He had loan the second half of the season last season in the second team of the Krc Genk – also in the second Belgian league. His contract with S04 is dated by 2028.
