The German bike sprinter Phil Bauhaus has ensured the next German stage victory in the Tour of Poland.

One day after Pascal Ackermann’s success, the native of Bocholt won the fifth stage from Lancut to Rzeszow over 178.1 kilometers in a sprint ahead of Frenchman Arnaud Démare. Nikias Arndt and Max Kanter rounded off the good German performance with third and fourth place. For Bauhaus it was the second win this season. The WorldTour finishes in Kraków on Friday.
