The German ski jumper cannot be beaten at the moment. Pius Paschke also took the lead at the World Cup in Wisla, Poland.

Pius Paschke continues to fly in his own league this winter: The 34-year-old won the second individual competition at the World Cup in Wisla on Sunday – already his third World Cup success this season. With 298.6 points, Paschke won ahead of the Austrians Jan Hörl (290.1) and Stefan Kraft (286.1).

Paschke jumped from the Malinka ski jump to 136.0 and 133.5 meters and was almost five meters ahead of second-placed Hörl.

With his success on Sunday, Paschke continued his legendary success story – Paschke won on all three ski jumps in the season so far. Martin Schmitt was the last German to achieve three wins in the first six competitions in the 2000/01 season.

Andreas Wellinger, winner of the second competition in Kuusamo, showed a clear improvement in seventh place compared to the previous day (22nd). Things are also looking up for Karl Geiger (Oberstdorf), the five-time world champion confirmed his trend with 14th place after eighth place in the first competition and is finding his consistency with a view to the tour.

Markus Eisenbichler, on the other hand, is in low performance; the former world champion was eliminated in the first round in 38th place, as was the case the day before.
