Chelsea FC has reported the commitment of striker Emmanuel Emegha. According to a preliminary agreement, the 22-year-old Dutch is only to come to the blues in the summer of 2026 by the French partner association RC Strasbourg Alsace. The Premier League club announced this in a short statement on its club website. Details on the transfer business have not been revealed.

According to reports, Emegha will receive a long -term contract for seven years near Chelsea. Before that, he should continue to list his previous employer as a captain in Ligue 1 and Conference League. “I could have signed this summer with clubs that take part in the Champions League, but the overall project of Strasbourg and Chelsea convinced me. Now I want to lead racing to Europe,” said the designated Chelsea access.

On Instagram, the offensive man wrote: “Proud and grateful to be able to sign at Chelsea FC. I (…) can hardly wait for the next career step. The journey continues.” He ended the sentence with a blue heart. According to the Appearance at EMEGHA, the Londoners had reportedly decided against another striker transfer to the Deadline Day. The attacker Liam Delap (22), who was only committed to the equivalent of 35.5 million euros, was injured for around three months.

Numerous transfer transactions occurred between Chelsea and Strasbourg in the past, most recently that was the case with the English left -back Ben Chilwell (28), which moved to France shortly before the deadline. Emegha reached 26 goals and five templates for his still club Strasbourg in 64 games. He has increased his market value since the end of 2022 – at that time he was still kicking Graz for Sturm – from 1.5 million to EUR 25 million. According to the youngsters Denner (17) and Geovany Quenda (18), Emegha is already Chelsea’s third fixed newcomer for 2026/27.
