Mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor had to accept the next legal defeat after allegations of rape in a civil process.
The Court of Appeal in Dublin confirmed the compensation judgment against the Irish from last November on Thursday. As a result, McGregor of those affected must pay 248,603 euros. The injured party claims that McGregor “brutally raped and abused them in 2018”.
The 37-year-old, who was not present at the verdict, denies the allegations. According to him, he had mutually acceptable sex with the woman.
As a result, he had appealed after the judgment from November. The act is said to have taken place in a hotel in the Irish capital in 2018. The woman stated that she suffered severe bruises and suffered from a post -traumatic stress disorder.
McGregor is one of the biggest stars in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the field of mixed martial arts, where he kept several titles.
