News | The God’s anger

★★ A dark and mysterious writer seems to have taken a terrible revenge against a young woman. She looks for a journalist in the bad to help her, but behind this there are problems that tell us that nothing is what it seems. The problem with this movie is that in the end everything is what it seems. But the real problem, the one that makes the film totally unsatisfactory, is its tone. We can’t blame the actors, because they do what someone tells them to do. And here they don’t speak: they declaim. They don’t move: they glide with a hint of overacted mystery. A movie can be an adaptation of a novel, but that doesn’t mean it has to be literary in a bad way. That accidental artificiality leaves us out of the story, which is not original, by the way, but could have been believable.
