★★★★ Created by the same people who made that gem that was The Wire, and in a similar spirit, this portrait of a Baltimore detective unit taken over by corruption lacks half measures. The gaze is dark, and shows not a state of affairs in which corruption appears, but a system based on corruption and where honesty is an exception. It is permanent tension.
