Lucas, how did you start the company and for what purpose?
SOUK Foodie Market was born as a dream that we had together with Luli, my wife and life partner, to create a different concept.
It was just a dream, and it was precipitated by the pandemic as we both lost our jobs. She has a degree in Gastronomy, and I am an amateur cook and dedicated to real estate in Buenos Aires.
The idea of this “different concept” was to provide the public with healthy food, but without losing quality and flavor. SOUK was born with an idea that goes in a direction quite different from that of “diet”; we are a Supermarket of Tasty Things. We have everything, for all kinds of food, focused on being healthy, but from the place of good quality, worrying about the traceability of all the products we work with, and knowing their origin.
What products are available?
SOUK is not a dietetic, nor a gourmet store, it is not an organic greengrocer, it is not a nursery nor a pantry, SOUK is all of that together. We have organic greengrocers, wineries, dairy products from pastured cows, pastured eggs, imported products, sourdough bread, vegan cuisine, prepared and ready-made food, national and imported beers, and much more. In total we have more than 8,000 products.
What services do you provide to your clients?
When we faced opening this dream, we focused on a Solomonic task that was to open the store and the online store at the same time, and we are currently delivering every day of the week in Carlos Paz, Córdoba and Gran Córdoba, with the possibility of having the free shipping, with a very low base purchase, and products that do not require a cold chain, reach the entire country through our E-Commerce www.soukfoodiemarket.com. We care that both the person who visits us at the premises, and the one who visits us in our Online store, receive personalized attention and according to the SOUK concept.
