Gustavo, how were the beginnings of the company?

The firm was born in 2018 with Di Capua Consulting. I held management positions in different international consulting firms for more than 15 years, and with the support of clients and collaborators we founded the Firm.

Two years later, Enrique Ochner was added as Naming Partner, giving rise to the current name, Di Capua & Ochner, and leveraging clients and services.

The Partners have been dedicated to Supply Chain Consulting for more than 20 years and the Team of Directors and Managers is of the highest Expertise.

What services do they provide to the public?

We run Consulting Services throughout the entire Supply Chain, starting with Strategy, Operations, Technology and Project Execution.

The Support is with an end-to-end vision of all the processes. We do not leave customers alone in any link of a Supply Chain project.

What kind of companies advise?

We are mainly hired by Medium to Large Companies, where logistics problems are the focus of the Business.

From the point of view of the Industries, we have gone through a very wide variety, including Mass Consumption, Retailers of all kinds (Supermarkets, Construction, Fashion, Pharma), Oil & Gas, Laboratories, Textile and many others. In general we cross all industries.

In which countries do you provide services?

We have projects throughout Latin America: Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and we have even approached proposals in Spain this last year.

What is the problem faced by Companies in terms of Supply Chain?

In recent years, two very significant phenomena have converged: Changes in Supply Chains due to the acceleration of changes in consumption habits. E-commerce, last-mile apps and, on the other hand, the context of the pandemic.

All this forced the Companies to rethink their strategy, from the point of view of their logistics, enlarge operations, incorporate technology and execute the designed projects.

Many were able to do it, and others are still on that path.

Business contexts are constantly and rapidly changing, and the Supply Chain is transforming after these changes.

What is the role of Consulting in this process of change?

Consulting offers value from different points: Technical Expertise, Methodology, Market Benchmark and Project Management.
It is very difficult for a Company to carry out a transformation process in the Supply Chain without external help. In general they do not have the focus, time, or expertise.

In many cases, the main impediment to transforming the Supply Chain is the success of a successful strategy. Until today. In the near future it can turn into a trap.

What are your plans for the years to come?

We want to continue progressing and incorporating clients.

We can say, mainly with the endorsement of our Clients, that we are a leading reference in the Region in matters of Supply Chain Consulting.
