The Braunschweig Lions are in transition. In the midst of the structural realignment, the football club is now announcing positive news.
The New Yorker fashion group is continuing its collaboration with the Braunschweig Lions. After the structural realignment of 1. FFC Braunschweig and the return of gaming operations to the parent club, the partnership will be continued in the future. The football club announced this in a press release.
The fashion company ended its involvement as the main sponsor, namesake and shareholder of the Lions in 2025 after more than ten years. The Lions then returned from a company that was a 100 percent subsidiary of New Yorker to the parent club 1. FFC Braunschweig. Now it is clear: New Yorker will not remain as the Lions’ main sponsor, but at least as one of several partners. The club did not disclose how exactly the group participates in the sponsorship.
The club describes the continuation of the partnership as an important stability factor in the current phase of upheaval. It strengthens the foundation for a sustainable and responsible future – after “turbulent weeks” with many challenges.
