There were no life-threatening injuries and a huge deployment of police forces on the scene
Fear in New York for a shooting inside the Amazura nightclub in Queens, in the area called Jamaica. Police investigations are currently ongoing and the nature of the accident has not yet been clarified. All hypotheses are open given the attack that occurred just a few hours earlier in New Orleans.

According to what the New York Postciting anonymous police sources, the police were called around 11.20pm local time on January 1st. Through the videos and photos circulating on the web, we can see numerous emergency vehicles including firefighters, ambulances and police cars, intervened to help the victims and manage the inevitable chaos generated by the panic. Fortunately the balance appears positive, there were 11 people injured in a non-serious way, none of them were in danger of their lives. The injured were transported to several area hospitals including Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen’s Children Medical Center.

The Amazura nightclub, in the Jamaica area of Queens, is a very large venue capable of holding up to 4 thousand people and also hosts live music. There police are looking for a gray Infiniti who was seen fleeing the crime scene and appears to be connected to what happened.
