Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek published a new year message.
Özbek, in his message published on the yellow-red club’s website, said:
We leave behind 2023, the 100th anniversary of our Republic, and say hello to 2024. Galatasaray Sports Club is closing the year 2023 with its sporting achievements as well as showing its responsibility as the largest non-governmental organization in Turkey. The rapid aid action we took as a club in the earthquake disaster that deeply injured us all and the stance of our community that prioritizes human values above all else have been a source of pride for us. Hoping for a new year in which sports brings happiness, I congratulate all Galatasaray fans and wish them health and well-being.
